These corporate values have developed in the history of the Barth company that dates back more than 150 years. They represent what made us successful in the past and affect our day-to-day dealings. Our values are central to our identity today. They symbolize what Barth stands for and what sets us apart from other companies. They provide an orientation and indicate the direction in which we wish to be moving.

Ever since the founding of our company in 1865 a sustainable and profitable development has been the company’s central objective and principle. Regarding our customers and business partners, long-term profitable relationships of trust are more important to us than fast business and short-term profits. Regarding our staff, sustainability means they can develop at Barth both as personalities and as employees throughout their work life. And we wish to be a responsible member of society and a good neighbor at our national locations.

We wish to achieve goals as a team and share knowledge, expertise, and success. By integrating these corporate values into the way we live we treat each other with respect and seriousness as well as with humor and joy of living and working.
