Short description

The term "aluminum" includes ultra-pure aluminum and aluminum alloys. The aluminum materials most used in the plumbing and roofing branch, Al Mnl and Al Mnl MG 0.5, are wrought alloys made from aluminum, manganese or magnesium, and other metals. The strengths F 12 and F16 denote quarter-hard folding qualities. Anodized sheets (cannot be folded!) require special alloys (e.g. Al MG 1). Displays good resistance to normal weather conditions, good workability and low weight; building material class A 1. Aluminum is corrosion-resistant due to a naturally self-forming bonded, close oxide layer; uv-resistant; rot-resistant; unbreakable; non-toxic; reusable (recycling).
