The company Reineck from Karlsdorf covered an Asian-style teahouse with Prefa folding shingles (ca. 30 m², stucco anthracite).
On the basis of static requirements they were perfectly suited due to their low weight of only 2.6 kg/m². It was desired that the verge should have a bulging appearance to match the flash and ridge finishes, so the company Reineck manufactured it from 15 cm short semi-circular covers. These were then bead worked on purpose-built retainers made from 1.5 mm thick aluminum. As Asian teahouses are additionally decorated at the roof finishes, the ridge caps were tapered and lion heads were additionally installed.
